Outside surgery opening hours please phone 0345 604 7341. Our practice has joined the out of hours service of the Scunthorpe Area GP Emergency Centre based at Scunthorpe General Hospital. Three of our doctors do regular stints at the weekend at the emergency service. We think it works pretty well. All the doctors who work there are local GP's, and we believe that the justified criticism of GP emergency services in other parts of England does not apply in this area.
The service operates from 18:30 - 08:00 during the week and from 18:30 Friday evening until 08:00 Monday morning at the weekend. You can be seen by a doctor, if they judge it to be an urgent problem, but usually you will have to organise transport to the hospital yourself.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
