Repeat Prescriptions
Requests for repeat medication should be faxed or handed in at reception allowing 48 hours notice.
To save time and trouble for both you and ourselves you can order your repeat prescription directly through this site, if you have registered at reception. Click on the link above and you will be taken to the Prescription System.
Prescriptions can also be requested via all the local pharmacies. Please insist that you are given the 'right hand side' of the prescription and that you should only order the items that you need, in order to avoid waste. However you should not order regular medication more often than once a month, i.e. please order everything that you do not have a months supply left of!
For the moment we also accept phoned requests after 10am but we will probably be phasing this service out as it is blocks our phone lines and is inefficient.
We do provide a delivery service if needed.
Dispensing
We are allowed to dispense medicines to all patients living more than one mile from a chemist. We have lost the right to dispense to our patients in Broughton as the Riverside Surgery opened a pharmacy at their branch surgery in Broughton
