Ways to order your repeat prescriptions
- Online via Patient Access, the NHS App or AccuRx, our online consultation
- Requests can be handed into reception allowing 48 hours notice
- Prescriptions can also be requested via all the local pharmacies. Please insist that you are given the ‘right hand side’ of the prescription.
Dispensing
Please note we dispense medication to all patients living more than one mile from a chemist. Please allow4 working days for repeat dispensing.
Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions
NHS Charges
- Prescription (per item): £9.65
- 12-month prepayment certificate (PPC): £111.60
- 3-month PPC: £31.25
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 13 items in 12 months, you will find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
